A ceramics project exploring gender and body normativity. Together with Thiago Antunes, Rebecca Sforzani and Centro di Palmetta we collaborated with the people from Centro Diurno Marco Polo in Terni, a protected activity space for psychiatric patients. What started with a discussion about 2 found cups, with “Her” and “Him” written on them, turned into a community-involving project over more than 2 weeks. We invited everbody to create personal cups and game figures that wouldn’t confirm to the industrial patterns and to play with concepts of “useful” , “able” and “weird”. In the end those cups and figures were painted in the colors of LGBTQI flags. While making them we had a lot of discussions about how game (and therefore social) structures are questioned when you have to take in account non-standardized shapes
