During "Paper Lives", a one month residency program at Nafasi Art Space in Dar es Salaam, I collected participants' old black and white photographs and created new art works from them. These were then redistributed in the Sinza neighborhood in shops and public spaces in order to create an open-air museum that made contemporary art accessible to an audience who is often excluded from it.
